CPEER October Gathering

Delighted to kick start the fourth year of our CPEER gathering today. Hosted by the  Hincks Team, we had a great number of colleagues from across the University attend the online event.



  • First Presentation: Lisa Murphy and Trudie Murray, Department of Management and Enterprise presented their Online Unit of learning “An Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship” which was made possible through TLU funding received in 2020. This online learning unit was developed for the module Entrepreneurial Mindset and was piloted successfully by lecturer Conor O’Callaghan in semester two 2020/2021. Feedback gathered from the students was also be presented followed by a Q&A.


  • Second Presentation: Dr Niall O’Leary, Research Fellow at the Hincks Centre, shared his experience of delivering the Erasmus+ funded project New Skills for New Artists. Last Spring, along with international colleagues, Niall delivered an entrepreneurship, music technology and marketing course to 45 musicians in Ireland, Belgium and Spain.

The CPEER group is an MTU-wide peer community of practice for educators and/or researchers in Entrepreneurship Education. More information about CPEER can be found here.
