WeRin Project Update

WeRin Project Update

25 June, 2021

A very positive second coordination meeting for the Erasmus+ WeRin project took place online on Friday 25th June. Sarah Davis represented MTU’s Hincks Centre and Rubicon Centre. The meeting covered progress in many of the work packages and tracked the outputs completed by the consortium to date.

The project celebrated finalisation of its first output - a comprehensive literature review of gender inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems. Another milestone was the creation of a quality panel of experts in inclusivity and entrepreneurship. The panel will be tasked with reviewing the project outputs.

Work on the state-of-the-art report is ongoing and many interviews are currently being conducted with students/alumni, aspiring and embedded female entrepreneurs, programme managers, entrepreneurship educators and wider ecosystem stakeholders.

The partners are preparing for the next stage of the project where the research and discovery stage will feed into a design phase with collaborative Think Tanks planned internationally and locally.
