We are delighted to see the Cool Route Interreg project, which the Hincks Centre led, recognised as a valuable contribution to the economy of the region.

Under their ‘Experience Enhanced Development for the South West Coast of Ireland’, Fáilte Ireland aims to “Improve our new pier and yachting facilities at Casteltownbere to enhance the Cool Route… The Cool Route project… stretches from Cork along the Wild Atlantic Way to Northern Ireland then on to Western Scotland and finally to the Faroe Islands and Tromso, in Western Norway. It is described as the World’s Most Adventurous Cruising Route.”

Information on the Cool Route project can be seen in our Projects section by clicking here.
