Hincks in Remote Judging Panel

Hincks in Remote Judging Panel

21 April, 2020

The Hincks Centre was delighted to participate in this year’s Foróige's NFTE Regional Finals Competition on April 21. NFTE is the Network For Teaching Entrepreneurship. The annual event showcases the excellent work by youth groups around the region on their new business ideas.

In response to the restrictions brought about by the Covid19 pandemic, all the judging was conducted remotely.

Each finalist (groups and individuals) received a seed grant from NFTE to set up and run their own business. As part of the three-person judging panel, we reviewed presentation slides before a virtual meeting to discuss each finalist to select one winner and one runner up to represent Cork at the NFTE Semi-Finals Competition.

Photographs here show the changing world we all live and work in: online presentations, virtual judge panel meetings, but all supporting young people and promoting entrepreneurship.
