Research Week at CIT

Research Week at CIT

22 November, 2019

CIT’s Research Office hosted a week of fantastic talks and training workshops as part of the inaugural Research Week.

In total there were 16 talks, 5 training sessions, 2 half-day workshops and the official launch of the CIT Intellectual Property Policy by CIT's President - Dr Barry O’Connor.

The highlight was Friday’s session, with presentations by 17 designated research entities from CIT and IT Tralee on how their research addresses the world’s challenges and that research aligns with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

The Hincks Centre was delighted to highlight their work with Irish Aid, the Irish Embassy in South Africa, the social entrepreneurship work with Enactus Ireland and work in Vietnam, to name but a few.

The slide below gives an example of our work.
