Niagra College – Fáilte go CIT

Niagra College – Fáilte go CIT

25 October, 2018

Céad mile fáilte to a group of undergraduate students from Niagara College Canada.  The group, on a study field trip to CIT this week, met with Cork businesses, Canadian Ambassador to Ireland, Cork City Council and CIT students and faculty.

Today, the group with their two lecturers attended sessions on internationalisation, scaling-up and entrepreneurship.  CIT lecturer Jane Leonard facilitated the sessions and welcomed Hazel Sullivan Senior HR Direct from McKesson Ireland, Mark Shorten, IDA Ireland and Helen McGuirk from the Hincks Centre.  Commenting after the session, one student said the trip to CIT and Cork was the best experience ever, “what I’ve learned the past few day is amazing, I want to come back”.

A fantastic opportunity to collaborate and exchange ideas: an example of CIT’s wide international network.
