CIT Team present at Enactus Ireland Spring Summit 2016

26 February, 2016

A delegation of CIT students attended the Enactus Ireland Spring Summit 2016, which took part on Friday, February 26, at the National University of Ireland in Galway.
It was a very intense couple of days, in which the CIT Enactus team had the opportunity to have private meetings with a dozen experts in different subjects, debate about the challenges and possibilities of Social Entrepreneurship and socialise and share experiences with students from all over the country
Despite being the most recent inclusion to the program in Ireland, the members of the team received very encouraging feedback from the experts, and are eager to keep developing their project and compete against more experienced teams in next May’s National Competition, the winner of which will  travel to Canada for the Enactus World Cup.
Enactus, whose development in the CIT is under responsibility of the Hincks Centre, is an international non-profit organization, present in more than 30 countries, that works with leaders in business and higher education to mobilize university students to make a difference in their communities while developing the skills to become socially responsible business leaders.
